Chapter 27#

The protagonist was a favored son of heaven.

Outstanding, handsome, flamboyant, and proud. He was pampered by his family to the point of lawlessness and had never been punished for his mistakes.

In his youthful ignorance, he flirted with others for fun and had an earth-shattering history of early love with a sponsored “high-mountain flower”—a cool, incredibly popular, and impoverished student. Their breakup was just as sensational.

He didn’t take it seriously at first. They were young and foolish, weren’t they? Everyone had thorns, everyone was proud, no one would bow their head, and they all wounded each other.

To his surprise, a “Scumbag Reform System” bound itself to him.

It turned out he was the heartless “scumbag villain first love” who hurt the main character’s feelings.

After being bound to this system, he no longer had a say in his own life. Thus came the retribution, the atonement, the reform, and the bitter pursuit of forgiveness. Days passed, and he went from being a handsome and spirited young CEO to a bankrupt, sickly, and weak wheelchair-bound breakfast shop owner. His illness was syringomyelia; it was incurable and could only deteriorate step by step until he was confined to a wheelchair—retribution.

He was twenty-two when he became a breakfast shop owner.

He lived a rough life, splitting every penny in half. He even dared to brandish a knife and risk his life against thugs collecting protection money.

Yet, his mindset still seemed quite good. He sold all his valuables and set up a breakfast stall, working diligently from morning to night. His life’s goal was to save enough money so that, before becoming completely paralyzed, he could find a crevice in his favorite snowy mountain and jump.

Finally, he was forgiven. In exchange, the other party had a change of heart, and they reached a mutual understanding.

The “high-mountain flower” gradually entered his life again, learning about the hardships he had faced over the years, and was willing to let go of the past to start over with him.

The system also switched from the “Scumbag Reform System” to the “Villain Redemption System.”

Now, he was just one step away from a perfect Happy Ending (HE).

But he didn’t want to do it anymore.

He wanted to pack his things and go to the snowy mountains.
