Chapter 62#

Kissing?!#

Yan Yi heard Qin Mu’s reply, and her face instantly turned quite ugly. She glared at Jiang Yunhan, cursed “Pervert,” and furiously turned around and left, her little lambskin high heels clicking.

After she left, Qin Mu not only didn’t let go of his hand, but instead pulled the person in his arms tighter. With one hand, he pinched his chin, lifting the other’s face, and Qin Mu lowered his eyes, chuckling softly at him.

“Jiang Yunhan?”

‘Jiang Yunhan’ narrowed his eyes slightly and smiled, “You recognized me?”

“Is it hard to recognize you?”

‘Jiang Yunhan’ blinked, “It’s not a simple matter either.”

Before departing, Jian Yunchen found Jiang Yunhan, and under his instigation, Jiang Yunhan agreed to his request to swap identities.

The two already looked extremely similar. Except for the obvious tear mole, Jian Yunchen first found a way to cover it for him, then used an eyeliner pencil to draw one on himself. After swapping clothes and deliberately toning down their expressions, it was almost impossible to tell them apart.

Even if the two appeared before Jiang Sheng like this, Jiang Sheng’s reaction was no different from usual.

The disguise was very successful.

A smile flickered in ‘Jiang Yunhan’s’ eyes.

Only Qin Mu recognized him at first glance.

Qin Mu held his chin, looked at the lively smile in his eyes, and also smiled, “What mischief are you plotting now?”

‘Jiang Yunhan’ glared at him lightly:

“How can it be mischief?”

“It’s clearly an excellent idea.”

Qin Zheng walked out of the room, a faint smile still lingering on his lips, not yet retracted.

Judging solely from his expression, the conversation with Ji Weiyi in the room wouldn’t have had a bad outcome.

Outside the door, ‘Jian Yunchen’ was quietly leaning against the wall, head slightly lowered, waiting for him.

As soon as Qin Zheng saw him, his face immediately turned cold.

From his two encounters with Jian Yunchen, he believed Jian Yunchen was a mad dog, illogical, and reckless. Partnering with someone like him meant there’d be no one to complain to if he was double-crossed.

He turned to leave, but was stopped by ‘Jian Yunchen’.

“Qin Zheng.” He tugged at Qin Zheng’s hem.

Qin Zheng’s steps paused slightly. He turned his head to look at the slender white wrist that was exposed; ‘Jian Yunchen’ was gripping so tightly that his fingertips were slightly white, and even subtly trembling.

He suddenly stepped forward, embracing Qin Zheng from behind.

No one passed through the corridor on the third floor. The bustling noise from the first floor couldn’t disturb this place in the slightest. The cruise ship floated on the sea, occasionally swaying slightly, just like ‘Jian Yunchen’s’ heart at this moment.

Before coming, Xiao Chen found him and told him that by simply swapping identities, he could use Jian Yunchen’s perspective to probe Qin Zheng’s true feelings.

If Qin Zheng only used him and had no genuine feelings, then facing Jian Yunchen, whose appearance and identity were almost identical…

There would be no reason to refuse.

If he refused……

If he refused,

Qin Zheng refused him.

He pulled his hand away, walked straight ahead without even looking back.

‘Jian Yunchen’ was left stunned in place, instinctively lifted his foot to chase, and grabbed him again.

This time, Qin Zheng turned his head.

He still kept a step’s distance from him, his gaze colder than ‘Jian Yunchen’ had ever seen. ‘Jian Yunchen’ hesitated slightly, then stepped forward, looking directly into Qin Zheng’s eyes, hoping to see a different emotion there.

Qin Zheng lowered his eyes slightly to look at him, the coldness in his eyes gradually fading.

Turning into disgust.

He pressed against ‘Jian Yunchen’s’ neck, his fingertips tightening, his voice flat:

“Jian Yunchen, what madness are you up to?”

‘Jian Yunchen’ blinked, placed his hands on Qin Zheng’s wrists, slowly tightening his grip. He stared intently into Qin Zheng’s eyes, biting his lower lip, his heart rate gradually quickening, and asked word by word the phrase Jian Yunchen had taught him:

“Can it only be brother? Can’t it be me?”

Qin Zheng’s temple twitched, his fingertips instantly released their grip. ‘Jian Yunchen’ was forced to look up, he struggled to swallow, still staring intently at him.

A trace of a smile escaped Qin Zheng’s throat.

He slowly leaned closer, the disgust in his eyes clear and distinct under the light.

“Jian Yunchen, do you think just because you look like Xiao Han, you can replace him?”

He threw his hand away. ‘Jian Yunchen’ stumbled back a few steps, covering his still burning neck, looking at him in confusion.

Qin Zheng took out a clean white silk handkerchief and wiped his fingertips.

He said slowly:

“I’ve investigated you. A drug-addicted mother, a gambling-addict uncle.” Qin Zheng glanced at him indifferently, the contempt in his eyes piercing him like needle tips: “Are all these behaviors of yours learned from your mother?”

‘Jian Yunchen’ could hardly believe these words came from Qin Zheng’s mouth.

For so long, he had always thought Qin Zheng was merely a bit cold-hearted, ambitious and aspiring, and although he would do some extreme things, he had never imagined that he actually viewed Jian Yunchen this way from the bottom of his heart.

He widened his eyes, unwilling to miss any subtle change in Qin Zheng’s expression. He trembled as he asked, “What do you mean my behaviors are learned from my mother? Speak clearly.”

The expensive silk handkerchief was crumpled by its owner and then carelessly discarded on the ground.

On the brown carpet, it was the only patch of pure white.

“Do I need to be more direct? Do I need to remind you what kind of person your mother is?”

‘Jian Yunchen’ lunged forward, grabbing Qin Zheng’s collar. His eyes were bloodshot, and his wrists trembled, “How dare you!”

Before this, he hadn’t known that Jian Yunchen had actually lived such a life.

The contempt in Qin Zheng’s eyes stung him fiercely.

‘Jian Yunchen’ bit his lower lip tightly, his chest heaving violently, “Qin Zheng, don’t forget, I am also Jiang Sheng’s son. How dare you treat me like this?”

Qin Zheng curved his lips into a smile, shaking off ‘Jian Yunchen’s’ grip. He smoothed his crumpled collar, and a light question dropped down: “Does President Jiang acknowledge you?”

‘Jian Yunchen’ froze in place, this sentence instantly struck him so hard that he lost even the strength to retort.

Xiao Chen was right, no one in the Jiang family welcomed him, which is why he desperately wanted to make a splash.

Therefore, all his actions had an explanation.

It was forced by circumstances, out of necessity.

‘Jian Yunchen’ clutched his other wrist, his heart chilling. He turned his head and said softly:

“Qin Zheng, let’s stop here.”

Qin Zheng frowned, but unexpectedly saw a glint of moisture in the corner of ‘Jian Yunchen’s’ eye.

His gaze paused, and then, ‘Jian Yunchen’ looked at him.

“From now on, don’t contact me again. We are completely over.”

“I’ve seen all your explanations, but none of that matters anymore. Whether what you said is true or not, it doesn’t matter.”

Jiang Yunhan shed a tear, his trembling voice fading into the air: “Whether it’s me or Xiao Chen, we both hope you won’t appear and bother us anymore.”

Qin Zheng’s expression was blank, his body stiff. He opened his mouth to explain, but found he didn’t even know where to begin.

Jiang Yunhan didn’t give him another chance. After saying his last words, he turned and left decisively. Even when Qin Zheng grabbed his wrist again, he didn’t look back and forcefully shook him off.

He ran down the stairs, went around the banquet hall, shaking off Qin Zheng.

Jiang Yunhan went to the deck, looking for Jian Yunchen’s figure.

The cold wind whistled past. There was no one in sight on the deck. The wind and waves made the cruise ship begin to sway. He anxiously looked around.

Finally, he found the other person’s figure in the shadows.

Jiang Yunhan stopped in his tracks, unconsciously covering his slightly open mouth with both hands.

Xiao Chen…

Xiao Chen was actually kissing Qin Mu!
