Chapter 120#

“Have I already begun to hold meaning for you? Qin Mu?”#

“It worked.”

Qin Mu suddenly grabbed his ankle and dragged him back. Jian Yunchen’s gasp was smothered in his throat in the next instant as Qin Mu kissed him deeply, guiding his hand to slide from top to bottom.

“Mmm…” A heat source inside Jian Yunchen’s body surged up in waves, scorching his consciousness until it began to blur. As his fingertips slid along, he still found it hard to believe.

How could it…

How did I…

He barely had two seconds to formulate a thought within his chaotic mind before Qin Mu noticed his distraction.

Qin Mu bit his lip in dissatisfaction, his tone dangerous. “What are you thinking about?”

Jian Yunchen didn’t dare reply. His fingertips trembled, and his breathing became increasingly erratic.

Qin Mu pressed closer, murmuring against his ear, “Did you buy them?”

The ambiguous whisper easily sent a wave of numbness through half of Jian Yunchen’s body. He let out a soft groan and closed his eyes, his eyelashes trembling slightly.

Buried in Qin Mu’s embrace, Jian Yunchen lightly rubbed his long legs against him and whispered, “I bought them… they’re on the nightstand…”

The breathing by his ear suddenly grew heavy. Qin Mu abruptly bit Jian Yunchen’s earlobe. The sudden pain made Jian Yunchen’s whole body shudder. He let out a whimper, and the forcefulness seemed to dissipate, turning into gentle licking and nibbling.

The sticky, wet sensation starting from the sensitive tip of his ear triggered tremors throughout his body. The moisture in Jian Yunchen’s eyes deepened. He bit his lower lip hard, but several broken, soft moans still escaped his throat.

Qin Mu’s long arm reached out, pulling open the nightstand drawer. Amidst a brief sound of rummaging, he accurately found the square box.

He propped himself up halfway and pulled a foil packet from the box. Qin Mu pinched it between his fingers, a faint smirk playing on his lips. With his hair disheveled, Jian Yunchen lay obediently beneath him, causing the possessiveness and lust in his heart to reach a peak.

He held the thin, square plastic packet and lightly grazed it against Jian Yunchen’s cheek.

The cool plastic packaging left a very faint mark on Jian Yunchen’s fair skin.

Qin Mu’s eyes darkened slightly as he pressed it against Jian Yunchen’s lips, causing the full lower lip to sink in slightly.

His voice sounded, low and tinged with hoarseness: “Bite it open.”

Jian Yunchen looked up at him. His moist eyes shimmered with fragmented light in the gloom, and the redness of his ears was starkly visible against the black hair on the bed.

He opened his mouth slightly and, with extreme obedience, tore the packaging open with his teeth.

The dangerous dark light in Qin Mu’s eyes grew heavier. He reached out with his fingertips to toy with Jian Yunchen’s lips and the tip of his tongue. Jian Yunchen’s eyes narrowed slightly as his soft tongue was continuously teased.

Qin Mu whispered into his ear, “Help me put it on…”

As if bewitched, Jian Yunchen’s fingertips went soft as he tremblingly reached out to take it.

“Why are you so well-behaved today?” Qin Mu pressed against the back of Jian Yunchen’s neck, his chin resting in the hollow of his shoulder. His breath puffed gently against the skin, and his voice carried a sense of satiation.

Jian Yunchen gave a soft huff and dodged the touch, turning sideways to bury his face in the pillow, his body so limp he couldn’t muster any strength.

The touch behind him suddenly vanished, and Jian Yunchen opened his eyes slightly.

He saw Qin Mu wrapping his bath towel back around himself, still damp from the recent shower. He was bending over to clean up the mess on the floor. The towel was loosely wrapped around his waist, revealing the smooth lines of his shoulders and back, which were marked with several red scratches.

Watching Qin Mu’s movements, Jian Yunchen couldn’t help but feel his face burn. He extended a foot to lightly hook around Qin Mu’s waist, his words muffled: “Just leave it there. I’ll have someone clean it tomorrow.”

Qin Mu let out a low chuckle and pinched his foot. Once caught, it wasn’t so easy to pull back.

A tingle spread from the tender sole of his foot. Jian Yunchen couldn’t help but give him a light kick. “Stop it…”

A lazy smile played in the depths of Qin Mu’s eyes. “Who’s the one acting up? Still haven’t had enough?”

Jian Yunchen snapped his foot back and pressed his lips together, falling silent.

The scattered plastic packets on the floor were cleared away. Qin Mu leaned over to pick up the soaked clothes and turned to enter the bathroom. It wasn’t until the sound of splashing water came from inside that Jian Yunchen suddenly reacted.

He grabbed a towel at random and rushed to the bathroom door. Seeing the black fabric in Qin Mu’s hand, the blush on his face deepened.

Jian Yunchen pursed his lips, his face taut as he snatched it away, though the redness of his ears peeked out from his hair.

Under the light, Jian Yunchen’s fair skin looked even more startling, covered in various degrees of red marks.

Qin Mu wrapped his arms around him, preventing him from hiding, and asked in a low voice, “Why are you running again?”

Jian Yunchen turned his face slightly, hiding his hand behind his back. “This is mine…”

“Of course I know it’s yours.” Qin Mu was amused. “Are you worried I’m going to steal them and wear them myself?”

“Of course not—” Jian Yunchen glared at him. “I can do it myself…”

Qin Mu reached out to take them back, chuckling softly. “What’s there to argue about? I’ll be done washing them in a moment. If you’re uncomfortable, go lie down on the bed.”

Jian Yunchen’s eyes flickered. He paused for a few seconds, and just as Qin Mu was about to usher him out, he suddenly leaned close to Qin Mu’s ear and whispered a single sentence: “It… felt good.”

With that, he slipped out from under Qin Mu’s arm and hid back in the room.

Qin Mu was stunned for a moment. Watching his silhouette, he began to laugh softly.

A few minutes later, Qin Mu wrapped his arms tightly around him from behind. He lowered his head to sniff the pleasant, comfortable scent of the body wash on Jian Yunchen, feeling somewhat intoxicated.

“You’re so good, Jian Yunchen. Why are you so good?”

Jian Yunchen paused and turned to face him.

The lights in the room had been turned off, leaving only a few faint slivers of light from the hallway seeping through the crack under the door. However, that luminous gaze was easily caught by Qin Mu—a look so focused it made one’s heart soften. Qin Mu lowered his head, cupping his cheeks and gently rubbing his nose against Jian Yunchen’s.

Jian Yunchen looked at him and blinked. Suddenly, in the quiet room, he asked:

“Qin Mu, was it you who put the GPS tracker in my phone?”

Qin Mu’s movements stiffened imperceptibly. He lowered his eyes, his lashes veiling the emotions within. “What tracker? Someone put one on you?”

Jian Yunchen curled his lips into a smile.

Originally, he only had seventy percent suspicion, but seeing Qin Mu’s reaction, the remaining thirty percent was now filled.

Qin Mu stopped talking. He couldn’t be bothered to explain. He reached out to hug Jian Yunchen and gave a dissatisfied huff.

“It’s only because you refuse to tell me anything. What if I did install—”

“I’m so happy.” Jian Yunchen tilted his face up in his arms, a satisfied smile on his face.

“Every time, you appeared by my side so opportunely. At first, I thought your interest in me was just because of my resemblance to my brother.”

“Later, you said you didn’t like Jiang Yunhan. Since you said it, I believed it. You said you would try to like me. So, had you already liked me since then?”

A gleam of joy danced in his eyes. “Have I already begun to hold meaning for you, Qin Mu?”

Qin Mu tightened his embrace and let out a soft sigh.

“More than that.”

Jian Yunchen blinked in confusion.

It didn’t just start then.

And it was far more than just “meaning.”

It was something much more important.

Indispensable.

Unique.
